Principal's Update

Dear Families,

As Term 3 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible energy and joy that has filled our school over the past few weeks. It has been a term packed with colour, community, and celebration, and I couldn’t be prouder of our students and staff.

One of the highlights was our Colour Run, which brought laughter, excitement, and a whole lot of colour to our school grounds. Every student took part in a fun run, ending with a splash of coloured powder and water. The grand finale? Miss Jaz and I were slimed by our students, an unforgettable moment that perfectly captured the spirit of fun and togetherness we value so much.

This week, we also held our Faction Carnival, and what a fantastic day it was. Students showed incredible sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination as they competed and cheered each other on. Thank you to all the families who came along to support. It was wonderful to see our community come together.

I’m also thrilled to share some exciting news. After working closely with our mainstream team, we have successfully secured funding, partially supported by the State Government and our local member of parliament, Sook Yee Lai, to build new play equipment with a strong focus on sensory engagement. This new space will include an in-ground bouncer, hammock, spinning carousel, climbing frame, and slide, designed to support and delight all our students. If all goes to plan, installation will take place over the summer holidays, ready for students to enjoy at the start of 2026.

As we wrap up Term 3, I want to thank you all for your continued support and partnership. It has been a joy to watch our students thrive, and I’m so proud of the inclusive, vibrant learning environment we’ve built together.

Wishing everyone a safe, restful, and fun-filled two-week break. I can’t wait to welcome you all back for Term 4, which promises to be a busy and exciting end to the year.

Warm regards
Sarah Tower
