Basketball Carnival
Wildcats Ability-Based Basketball Carnival
On Thursday, 14th August, a group of selected students had the exciting opportunity to represent our school at the Wildcats Ability-Based Basketball Carnival. The event brought together students from various schools, providing an inclusive platform to showcase their basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Our students confidently competed in a series of friendly matches, applying the rules, strategies, and techniques they had been practicing during school training sessions. Their effort, focus, and enthusiasm on the court were evident as they worked together, communicated effectively and demonstrated their growing understanding of the game.
Beyond the competition, what stood out most was their display of core values—kindness, fairness, and empathy—towards their peers from other schools. They encouraged one another, offered support, and celebrated everyone’s efforts, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all involved.
The carnival was not only a chance to play basketball but also a day of building confidence, fostering friendships, and developing social and emotional skills. Our students returned with smiles, stories, and a sense of pride for having represented the school with integrity and respect. It was a fantastic day of fun, learning and memorable moments both on and off the court.
