Welcome to Term Two at Coolbellup Learning Centre!
We’re off to a fantastic start to what promises to be an action-packed and exciting term!

The beginning of Term Two has been a busy one. We’ve warmly welcomed new students and their families into our community, as well as Mr Craig Beard, our new Primary School Principal. Our classrooms are also buzzing with the addition of new Practice Teachers.

In just a few short weeks, we’ve already commemorated ANZAC Day, celebrated our wonderful mums with the Mother’s Day Stall, and kicked off the always-busy report writing period.

Looking ahead, the next two weeks are just as full:

• National Sorry Day – Sunday, 26 May
• Parent Morning Tea – Wednesday, 29 May
• Staff Development Day (no student attendance) – Thursday, 30 May
• WA Day Public Holiday – Monday, 2 June

WA Student Assistance Payment – Now Open
The WA Government’s Student Assistance Payment is now open for applications. All Western Australian students from Kindergarten to Year 12 who are enrolled in a public or registered non-government school, or who are home-schooled, are eligible to apply.

• Kindergarten and Primary students: $150
• Secondary students: $250

Applications must be submitted by Friday, 4 July 2025, via the ServiceWA app. Please note you will need 100 points of ID to set up your account.

To complete your application, you’ll also need your child’s WA Student Number (WASN), which can be found on the front cover of their school report. If you can’t locate a copy, please contact the Centre on 9487 9502 and we’ll be happy to assist.
Late applications will not be accepted.
