Around the Rooms - LA3
LA3 Newsletter
Wow, what a start! We have been super busy in LA3 this term.
Literacy
We kicked off the term with some fantastic books! We started by reading The Dot by Peter Reynolds, followed by one of our favourite, Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin. In week three, we enjoyed Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister, and finally, in week four, we read Possum Magic. Our book wall is looking great with all these wonderful stories. We've also been learning about the "CH" sound and doing some fantastic reading. Our trips to the library have been a hit, and we love diving into new books.

Maths
In Maths, we've been working on measurement with Ms. Morrisson. We've been exploring concepts of longer and shorter, and some of us have been using tape measures and rulers to measure various objects. Additionally, we've been putting in a lot of effort to improve our understanding of place value.

Other Subjects
Our Art program has started with a focus on how colours mix, which has been very exciting. In Science, we had a blast watching how milk and dish soap react in our experiments. Cooking classes have been all about honing our knife skills, and in Social Skills, we've been working on sharing and playing with others. A big thank you to LA16 for joining us in these activities.

Stay tuned for more updates from LA3!
