LA7
We have had a very busy and productive term which has provided the students many opportunities to shine brightly with their unique potential and abilities. In English, we are continuing to develop essential phonetic knowledge using the Letters and Sounds Program.

Numeracy lessons are embedded within our learning environment and students have been engaged in group and individual tasks and activities that are designed to support their individualised needs and learning outcomes. The students have also participated in a range of fine and gross motor activities designed to provide the necessary skills required for everyday life. These have included a comprehensive cooking program and sensory art activities.

LA8
In LA 8 we have been painting boxes to make a garage and writing using the correct pencil grip. LA 8 is a very busy class where the children learn while they play.
Exploring the outdoor playground is learning as well as play.

LA6
It’s been a wonderfully hands-on term so far, filled with creativity, exploration, and plenty of fun!
In the kitchen, students have enjoyed making delicious dishes such as fried rice and mini pizzas, learning valuable skills along the way. Science Day was a definite highlight—we created our very own mini galaxies using sandwich bags, sparking curiosity and imagination.
We also put our recycling skills to the test by designing and building our unique monster masterpieces from reused materials, combining sustainability with creativity.
Looking ahead, we’re excited for some upcoming events, including the Fun Run and the Athletics Carnival—great opportunities for everyone to get active and involved.
We’re proud of all that’s been achieved so far and can’t wait for what’s still to come!

LA5
This term we have been having lots of fun with our new STEM program. The students have loved using different materials to build various constructions, such as a catapult and a marble run.

In class, we have had fun using an interactive program called Help Kidz Learn, where we practice various skills such as cause and effect, target and timing practice and choice making.

In Protective Behaviours, we have started learning about Early Warning Signs. Next, we’ll focus on online safety and relationship circles.
